Welcome to Mandala Math Tutoring! Thank you for exploring the unique services we offer. My name is Kyle Post, or “Mr. Kyle” as the students call me. With over 13 years of experience in education and a background in Computer Science and Mathematics from GWU and UMGC, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to teaching.
At The Mandala School of Maryland, I serve as the Lead Instructor for middle school and high school, and the Computer Science/Home Education Specials instructor. My journey through various career paths, including EMS, Real Estate, Marketing, and Project Management, has enriched my teaching approach, particularly in mathematics.
About Kyle: Inspiring Minds Through Math and Mindfulness
I believe in the power of integrating mindfulness with math education. This approach, which I call Mindful Mathematics, helps students calm their minds, engage deeply with coursework, retain skills, and build emotional resilience. My teaching philosophy focuses on nurturing self-sufficiency, confidence, resilience, and problem-solving abilities in students. I also aim to help students embrace setbacks, become adaptive, and evolve as effective communicators.
